Job Summary

Own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of data products and AI capabilities that turn data into customer value, smarter decisions, and new revenue streams. Lead external and internal data product direction, operating standards, and measurable outcomes. Collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, and an AI Steering Group on medallion architecture and build-vs-buy decisions (e.g., Databricks), while driving EU AI Act, GDPR, anonymisation, transparency, and human oversight.

Key Responsibilities

•Define, build, and scale customer-facing and internal data products with clear operating standards (consumers, contracts, freshness guarantees, quality SLAs).
•Contribute to the broader data and AI strategy, identifying where AI moves from experimentation to scaled product features.
•Act as product owner for the data and insights squad and translate architectural trade-offs back to the business.
•Partner with architects, data engineers, and engineering to shape product-side decisions on medallion architecture, tenant data isolation, and gold-layer boundaries.
•Own product-side compliance and AI governance decisions across EU AI Act, GDPR, anonymisation, transparency, and human oversight.

Key Requirements

•5+ years in product management, including at least 2 years owning data products end-to-end.
•Shipped products in a B2B SaaS environment, understanding operating cadence and commercial motion.
•Strong technical depth and breadth to partner with senior architects and data engineers on data architecture and build-versus-buy decisions without owning the technical layer.
•Stakeholder leadership across product, engineering, commercial teams, and customers to build alignment.
•Experience with mobility, energy, AI ecosystems, or modern data platforms (Databricks, dbt, Kafka, BI tooling) is a plus.
