Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform and coordinate case management and billing tasks for renal clinic patients.
  • •Obtain authorisation for admissions/updates and manage medical aid-related processes.
  • •Complete daily billing and finalise and render correct patient accounts.
  • •Identify and manage financial risks for all cases handled at the renal clinic.
  • •Coordinate system/process activities, complete general administration, and support patient satisfaction.

Key Requirements

  • •Grade 12 or equivalent education.
  • •1-2 years’ administration experience.
  • •Reception administration and confirmations experience (desired).
  • •Experience managing a medical aid account, including authorisations/updates and billings (desired).
  • •Knowledge of medical aid schemes and the private healthcare environment, including ICD and RPL coding and relevant regulations (e.g., POPIA, PMB legislation).
