Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with the Head of Discipline and other Discipline Managers to define and execute software engineering vision and strategy for the region.
  • •Drive discipline governance and competitiveness engagement, including cost model benchmarking, technical reviews for bids/projects, and maintenance of the discipline cost model.
  • •Formalize and communicate discipline processes, standardize software quality standards, and ensure adoption of new technologies (digital tools, cloud, CI/CD pipeline, containers).
  • •Develop talent by coaching engineers, mapping soft and hard skills to identify trends, supporting career development, and managing recruitment and contractor selection.
  • •Oversee projects/products by monitoring current practices and tools, managing major risks, ensuring compliance with local and international standards, and supporting resource allocation.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
  • •7+ years in senior software engineering leadership, ideally in an international and large organization.
  • •Demonstrated people management experience, including team leadership and mentorship (team size > 20).
  • •Experience developing software products and projects in complex, multi-stakeholder contexts.
  • •Ability to engage senior stakeholders, manage change, and make independent decisions amid complexity.
