Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare, set up, and execute dynamic and climatic tests on electronics and imaging payloads according to procedures and engineering direction.
  • •Operate, program, and maintain climatic chambers and electrodynamic shakers during test execution.
  • •Install, route, and integrate instrumentation (thermocouples, accelerometers, strain gages, pressure transducers, and other sensors).
  • •Run data acquisition (DAQ) and test-control software to capture and monitor test data, ensuring reliability.
  • •Maintain calibrated test equipment and tools, document test conditions/results/anomalies, and travel to test sites as needed for DVT and qualification.

Key Requirements

  • •Associates degree in Physics, Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or 5+ years of hands-on environmental test lab experience.
  • •Hands-on expertise operating and programming electrodynamic shakers and climatic chambers.
  • •Proficiency with data acquisition (DAQ) systems and test control software; familiarity with VR software or similar dynamic testing platforms.
  • •Solid understanding of test apparatus operation (shakers, chambers, power supplies, DMM) and how to mount/route accelerometers and thermocouples for reliable data.
  • •Disciplined documentation of test conditions, setup, and anomalies in real time; must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and work in noisy environments.
