Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the end-to-end release calendar for B2B and OMS, planning milestones and facilitating production readiness meetings for launch readiness.
  • •Orchestrate cross-functional dependencies by partnering with platform, QE, and product leadership to resolve scheduling conflicts and remove blockers.
  • •Manage release trains, define branching/versioning and cut strategy, including hotfix paths for urgent changes.
  • •Define and enforce quality gates and procedures for hotfixes and emergency releases, establishing clear criteria for what is 'ready to release.'
  • •Provide clear release status communication to leadership and continually improve the release process by identifying bottlenecks and streamlining workflows.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years in release engineering, release management, or DevOps with demonstrated technical leadership on a platform-scale system.
  • •Experience releasing systems across JVM and Node.js ecosystems, including build/publishing workflows.
  • •Experience with release automation and tooling (e.g., CI/CD pipelines and artifact registries) plus reproducible builds.
  • •Proven track record designing and enforcing release governance, branching strategies, and production readiness procedures.
  • •Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and containerization (AWS/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes) and release scripting/infrastructure-as-code.
