Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with Engineering and Solution partners through iterative discussions to deliver solutions meeting evolving market demands.
  • •Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging opportunities and drive product development from concept to production.
  • •Deliver technical roadmaps in concise formats tailored to both technical clients and executive partners.
  • •Own special projects such as maintaining GitHub repositories, running a docs-as-code website, creating scripts for productivity, and building CI/CD infrastructure.
  • •Learn AMD and competitor hardware roadmaps and GPU computation fundamentals, including HIP programming, to support the GPU software roadmap.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 67,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Currently enrolled in a Canada-based university in a Bachelor’s Degree program majoring in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Demonstrated proficiency with technology through projects in academia, at work, or personal time.
  • •Experience or knowledge across technical areas including open source, AI/data sciences ecosystems, computer architecture (parallel computing), and software architecture (firmware, O/S, drivers, libraries, user programs).
  • •Version control experience using git and comfort with scripting/documentation using bash and Markdown (or similar markup).
  • •Experience in Linux/Unix and exposure to machine learning algorithms and frameworks.
