Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently determine credit ratings for mid and large corporate borrowers and underwrite credit exposures using fundamental analysis and model outputs.
  • •Lead ongoing portfolio management and continuous monitoring of portfolio hygiene.
  • •Ensure accuracy of underwriting decisions for self and for the team.
  • •Lead analyst(s) on coaching and development, performance management, evaluation, and monitoring.
  • •Stay current on firm-wide risk policies and ensure governance, reporting, and data quality requirements are met for borrowers and borrower groups.

Key Requirements

  • •5-8 years of relevant experience in Corporate Credit & Risk Management at a corporate or institutional bank, including at least 3 years as an approving authority and people leader.
  • •MBA from a top-tier B-school or a professional qualification in accountancy (professional qualifications like CFA and/or FRM are a plus).
  • •Strong understanding of financial statements, including ratio and cash flow analysis, accounting standards, accounting treatment, and financial adjustments.
  • •Clear grasp of corporate finance concepts and their application to credit risk underwriting.
  • •Ability to manage workflow, ensure productivity, and maintain accuracy of underwriting decisions for self and the team.
