Job Summary

Operate and maintain exploration drilling equipment for K+S Minerals and Agriculture at the Zielitz site. You will create, maintain, and seal exploration boreholes, collect drill samples/coring for borehole profiles, and handle the drilling process including positioning surveys and backfilling. Perform service and maintenance work on drilling rigs while supporting safe operations under a 15-shift system underground.

Key Responsibilities

•Create, maintain, and seal exploration boreholes to explore the deposit.
•Extract and determine drill samples/coring to create borehole profiles.
•Operate exploration drilling equipment, flushing pumps, injection/grouting pumps, and safety systems.
•Carry out surveying and placement measurement and backfill exploration boreholes.
•Perform service and maintenance work on the drilling rigs.

Key Requirements

•Complete vocational training as a deep driller (Tiefbohrer), well builder (Brunnenbauer), special deep construction specialist (Spezialtiefbauer) or comparable training.
•Mehrjährige einschlägige Berufserfahrung is advantageous.
•Knowledge of exploration drilling equipment and techniques (mobile and stationary rigs, borehole safeguards, injection/grouting pumps) is desirable.
•Demonstrate resilience, teamwork, flexibility, and a sense of responsibility.
•Be willing to work in a 15-shift system underground.
