Job Summary

Lead transportation roadway design and project delivery across GDOT initiatives from the Atlanta office, using alternative delivery methods such as P3, DB, and CM/GC. Own planning, scheduling, staffing, and the financial/profitability targets for assigned projects, while coordinating with roadway, structures, hydraulics/drainage, traffic, planning, and environmental teams. Provide guidance to PMs and managers, mentor junior staff, prepare deliverables, and represent the team’s alternative delivery capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide superior client service through quality management and production management for specifications, reports, and analyses.
•Coordinate across design disciplines and remote office locations, including planning, environmental, roadway, structures, hydraulics/drainage, and traffic.
•Collaborate with leadership on long-range plans, including project staffing recommendations, and evaluate and mentor junior staff.
•Plan, schedule, and coordinate staffing levels needed for projects.
•Manage project schedule, budget, and profitability while overseeing plans, specifications, proposals, and RFC packages.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
•Professional Engineering (PE) License.
•7+ years of experience in large transportation and infrastructure projects focused on Alternative Delivery.
•Significant experience working with DOT projects and clients.
•Familiarity with design applications such as Microstation/Openroads/Inroads, HCS, and Geopak.
