Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform a wide variety of foundry duties following standard procedures and/or work instructions.
  • •Transport materials, castings, and/or equipment using a fork truck or payloader.
  • •Remove parting lines and other surface defects using rough grinding equipment and hand/bench grinders; change wheels/bits or dress wheels as required.
  • •Operate power equipment for cutting and bandsaw operations, including blade changes; operate power vac and mold-related processes (e.g., dump/shakeout).
  • •Setup and operate automatic molding machines; operate shot blast cleaning and perform minor maintenance, defect detection/reporting, and safety regulation compliance.

  • •High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • •Ability to read and follow instructions, including use and reading of fixed gauges and other instruments that do not require interpretation.
