Key Responsibilities

  • •Translate concepts into prototypes as part of the NPI development process.
  • •Design and execute ad hoc tests and test equipment to support product development.
  • •Create specifications for new capital equipment.
  • •Test prototype and existing water meters using manual and automated test equipment.
  • •Drive strategic improvements in development and testing while coordinating with internal teams and third-party suppliers/consultants.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years post-education experience in fast-paced electro-mechanical R&D design and validation.
  • •Knowledge of electro-mechanical validation, preferably flow meter testing.
  • •Apprenticeship or a mechanical-based degree with significant hands-on practical experience.
  • •Competence with typical machine shop equipment and analysis equipment, including scrutinizing data.
  • •Project management/project lead experience, with working effectively with missing information and safe working practices.
