Job Summary

Design and develop polyurethane-based manufacturing processes for detailed part production and assembly, including molds, documentation, and production methods. Create and maintain bills of materials, labor routers, lift plans, and lab service requests while ensuring material traceability. Partner with operations, quality, and EH&S to deliver safe, efficient work and meet quality and on-time delivery requirements. Perform risk assessments, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Independently plan and support design and development of advanced polyurethane products in a fast-paced environment.
•Design polyurethane molds, processes, and documentation to meet customer specifications and performance requirements.
•Work with supervisors and teams to address technical issues and help define engineering approaches, planning, and scheduling.
•Create and maintain bills of materials, production and labor routers; create and support compliant lift plans and perform weekly lift evolutions.
•Create lab service requests and maintain traceability of material lot numbers, serial numbers, customer-furnished equipment, and test results.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree and minimum 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
•Experience working in a Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials role or project.
•Experience with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
•Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to learn and create urethane processes.
•Ability to work independently or as part of an integrated product team.
