Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee and perform field inspections to monitor road conditions, bridges, road construction, traffic, and materials, including working at heights.
  • •Review construction, maintenance, and traffic projects for compliance with project specifications and plans.
  • •Compile quantities, review construction reports, and generate daily inspection reports and daily diaries of contractor work.
  • •Identify and document deficiencies, non-conformances, and safety hazards; communicate findings to project management and contractors.
  • •Verify material quality, testing results, and certifications; maintain inspection records and conduct QA follow-up inspections to confirm corrective actions.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED plus 4 years of experience (or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education).
  • •U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
  • •Valid U.S. Driver’s License required to visit project sites and pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.
  • •Ability to conduct field inspections, including working at heights, and oversee construction/traffic-related inspection activities.
  • •May be required to achieve certification in field testing procedures in concrete, soil aggregate, hot mix asphalt, and/or NICET certification.
