Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee complex new construction, renovation, and electrical infrastructure projects, including review and approval of electrical infrastructure design plans with code compliance.
  • •Apply high-level electrical engineering techniques across concept development, preliminary/final design, procurement, construction, and operations.
  • •Prepare and review electrical calculations (loads, equipment sizing, grounding potentials, short-circuit studies, overcurrent coordination, one-line diagrams, and protective relaying).
  • •Lead MEP engineering projects by preparing/overseeing budgets, tracking hours and expenses, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring technical calculations and delivery.
  • •Develop/review electrical plans, specifications, and cost estimates; prepare technical reports and presentations; provide guidance and QA/QC leadership to project members.

Key Requirements

  • •7 to 10 years of post-education experience as an electrical engineer delivering design outputs for capital projects in power generation, transmission, and distribution.
  • •Proficiency in electrical engineering principles, design/build practices, and applying work to permitting and project issues.
  • •Extensive knowledge of infrastructure design, including electrical infrastructure planning, design, and construction management across rehab, new design, and construction projects.
  • •Strong knowledge of applicable electrical engineering and electrical construction laws, codes, regulations, compliance, and record-keeping requirements.
  • •Proficiency with Revit and electrical design tools/software (including CADD-related tools) and ability to perform technical computations and calculations.
