Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement, and manage backup and recovery solutions to ensure compliance with data protection standards.
  • •Engage vendors to conduct periodic health checks and implement best-practice recommendations.
  • •Modernize cloud backup platforms and standardize backup solutions across regions to improve efficiency.
  • •Maintain availability, performance, security, and business continuity of the data protection platform, including backup retention policy enforcement.
  • •Perform backup testing and restoration, verify RTO/RPO, and lead disaster recovery restoration with documented procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years hands-on experience in enterprise backup, recovery, and data protection technologies.
  • •At least 3 years administering enterprise backup solutions such as Cohesity, Veritas NetBackup, or Veeam Software.
  • •Hands-on backup and recovery of PaaS workloads, including Azure SQL Database and other managed services.
  • •Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerized application backup.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related discipline, plus an enterprise backup certification and Microsoft Azure certification (AZ-104 or higher).
