Job Summary

Lead technical execution on AMD’s AECG x86 Embedded Team to optimize x86 platforms for embedded and commercial applications. You’ll work across silicon, firmware, and software, guiding customers through architecture reviews, debugging complex SW stacks, validating new features, and collaborating with field teams to ensure successful design-in and issue resolution for automotive/embedded products.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide guidance to ODM/OEM customers on effectively integrating AMD processor automotive products and custom designs. Guidance consists of architecture reviews, design-in support, and training customers on product features.
•Analyze, debug, & root cause issues found with AMD processor enabled platform, SW stack and work with appropriate development teams to provide a solution.
•Validate new SW features before releasing them to customers
•Train field sales and support staff in the features and uses of AMD products.
•Author technical paper, reference solutions, applications note internally as well as externally for NDA customers or public publications.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
•Strong knowledge of C, C++, and scripting languages such as Python
•Good understanding of x86 processor architecture
•Strong OS concepts and programming experience in Linux and Android
•Background in virtualization technologies and hypervisors
