Key Responsibilities

•Provide strategic planning and leadership for Canada’s major environmental projects and programs, defining objectives, KPIs, guidelines, and targets.
•Oversee financial tools and collaboration with Finance to monitor project delivery, mitigate risks, and achieve financial and operational goals.
•Lead the successful delivery of major environmental and multi-discipline projects, ensuring alignment with contract scope, budget, and client expectations; contribute to bids and major pursuits.
•Ensure compliance with health & safety, ethics, and quality standards; monitor project performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
•Manage staffing, workload balancing, and technical delivery; foster staff development, mentorship, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to optimize regional performance.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 125,000 - 200,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Planning, or a related field.
•At least 10+ years of relevant experience in the environmental industry, including 4 years in a leadership role (project management/director).
•Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education may be considered.
•Preferred: 15+ years supervisory/management experience in environmental sector; PMP certification; strong business acumen in strategy development; experience in environmental compliance/remediation/sustainability.
