Job Summary

Operate and set up conventional, CNC, and manual machining equipment with minimal oversight, supporting multiple programs. Interpret blueprints and engineering plans, perform machining setups and adjustments, take measurements, and inspect output using SPC charts and gauges. Maintain quality and safety records, follow EHS/Quality/CI standards, and drive continuous improvement to reduce cost of poor quality. May work extended shifts or overtime as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Interpret blueprints, work orders, engineering plans, and GD&T for operation, material, and dimensional requirements.
•Set up and operate conventional, CNC, and manual machining equipment to assemble, repair, and fabricate metal parts.
•Take measurements of materials, select appropriate machines, and make required machining setup adjustments.
•Conduct inspections of produced work, including checking SPC charts, gauging, and maintaining quality standards.
•Support EHS/Quality/CI requirements and participate in continuous improvement efforts; perform other duties including extended shifts/overtime as required.

Key Requirements

•HS diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education, plus at least 2 years of relevant experience.
•Ability to obtain a Machine Operator Certification.
•Ability to be certified on multiple programs with moderate to high difficulty complexity.
•Ability to obtain and maintain FAR 145 certification if requested by the business.
•Strong ability to read and interpret prints/blueprints and follow engineering specifications, including GD&T.
