Key Responsibilities

•Design and layout plumbing systems including sanitary waste/vent, domestic water, storm water, natural gas, medical gas, lab gas piping, equipment sizing, and specifications.
•Develop construction and installation plans and specifications coordinating with owners, architects, other disciplines, sub-consultants, and clients.
•Collect, compile, and analyze data from site surveys, blueprints, schematics, and reports to support project development, design, and construction.
•Apply high-level plumbing engineering techniques to identify improvements across concept, preliminary, and final design phases.
•Oversee plumbing design and construction management for building projects, including rehabilitation, new builds, operating specifications, and materials; supervise junior staff as needed.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering, or closely related discipline.
•7 to 10 years of relevant post-education experience in engineering discipline with prior plumbing and mechanical design experience.
•Engineer License is optional, but not required.
•Proficient with plumbing and mechanical engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, and application to project work-related issues.
•Extensive knowledge of building and infrastructure design.
