Serve as ultimate technical authority for the Product Engineering & Technology (PET) division, architecting and delivering resilient backend microservices and leading frontend systems integration across the CyProducts ecosystem. Drive sovereign cryptography and post-quantum (PQC) principles into application layers to meet NCA Essential Cybersecurity Controls. Provide hands-on technical leadership and enforce secure SSDLC with CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for high-assurance deployments in sensitive, air-gapped environments.

Job Function: Software Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Architect, engineer, and deploy resilient backend microservices using FastAPI and set backend development standards for the division.
•Embed sovereign cryptography and post-quantum cryptographic (PQC) concepts into the application layer for data-in-transit and data-at-rest security.
•Lead development of reactive frontend architectures using Vue.js to deliver high-performance user experiences across the CyProducts ecosystem.
•Integrate frontends with high-assurance hardware appliances deployed in sensitive industrial (OT) environments, ensuring real-time synchronization and data integrity.
•Provide technical leadership to the Dhahran-based engineering team and enforce secure SSDLC with zero-defect tolerance and CI/CD pipelines in GitLab before deployment authorization.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's or master's degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
•10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, including principal or Lead Architect-level tenure.
•Experience designing, building, and operating complex distributed applications for high-stakes environments.
•Hands-on practitioner who writes elite-level code and architects unassailable systems.
•Ability to design robust, high-assurance software that operates in advanced enterprise and highly sensitive, air-gapped infrastructures.
