Key Responsibilities

  • •Learn, maintain and document PRA models to enable determination of risk for operation and maintenance of the plant.
  • •Advise Nuclear Division personnel on PRA issues and participate in risk-informed plant program groups (e.g., Maintenance Rule Expert Panel).
  • •Evaluate plant design and licensing changes to determine quantitative impact on plant risk.
  • •Achieve qualifications related to independently performing PRA activities and risk-informed applications.
  • •Interact with NRC to provide requested information and technical representation for Callaway assessments.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Physics, Advanced Mathematics, Engineering Technology, or related skilled degree

  • •Ability to independently perform PRA activities and maintain PRA models
  • •Security screening required for Callaway Energy Center access
