Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide operational and strategic leadership to laboratory products; collaborate with Laboratory leadership to guide assigned products.
  • •Participate in budget preparation and monitor revenue, expenses, test volume, FTE efficiency, turnaround times, and production performance.
  • •Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal parameters (CLIA/CAP, HIPAA/PHI considerations).
  • •Lead and manage high-performing teams with accountability for operations, quality, customer service, and product line success.
  • •Draft SOWs and process select research samples through the CLIA lab; monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to optimize department performance.

Key Requirements

  • •BS/BA degree (or equivalent) in STEM-related field; Biological Sciences preferred
  • •8+ years of experience with at least 5 years overseeing manufacturing or a Contract Research Organization production team at a leadership level
  • •Experience managing a CLIA/CAP CRO production team is highly preferred; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google products; strong oral and written communication skills; high attention to detail
  • •Experience in Molecular Biology; ability to build and manage a high performing group of engaged and motivated employees
  • •Demonstrated ability to develop and implement laboratory production processes, SOPs, and to coach and mentor staff
