Job Summary

Support Outside Sales Representatives in a fast-paced inside sales role. Answer inbound customer calls and emails with quotes, product availability, order changes, cancellations, returns, and billing corrections. Generate price quotations and sales orders, use product catalogs and specification guides to recommend applications, coordinate with Dispatch for delivery, and investigate customer questions while providing feedback to management.

Key Responsibilities

•Receive customer calls and provide support for price quotations, product availability, orders, material returns, billing corrections, product information, order changes, and cancellations via telephone, fax, and e-mail.
•Provide product information and generate price quotations and sales orders in a timely manner.
•Refer to product catalogs and specification guides to determine product uses and applications.
•Provide support to the outside sales force, including reviewing job plans and bidding documents to develop quote/project summaries.
•Investigate and follow up on customer inquiries and concerns, coordinate delivery with Dispatch, and retrieve credit information when needed; follow all safety regulations.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
•Some previous sales experience, preferably in the construction industry.
•Experience with Microsoft Office.

•Ability to do basic math and provide organized problem-solving; attention to detail and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
