Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical leadership and solutions for client and project structural engineering queries into energy and power-related infrastructure projects; act as the local go-to for technical assurance, project verification and sign-off requirements.
•Support project delivery across technical verification, design governance, risk management, and work within project commercial requirements.
•Build client relationships as a trusted advisor, including running workshops with client technical teams and external stakeholders and contractors.
•Provide input into business development processes, contributing structural engineering inputs and timeframes into project proposals.
•Contribute technical expertise across the AECOM Australia team and with global subject matter experts; mentor and develop others in the structural discipline.

Key Requirements

•15+ years of experience in Structural Engineering across power, civil, pylon, substation or related projects.
•Registration on the National Engineering Register in Australia (RPEV or RPEQ), ideally with a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) designation or equivalent.
•Ability to manage a variety of projects from concept to delivery, ensuring technical excellence, quality outcomes, and client satisfaction.
•Strong client relationship and interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive client relationships as a trusted advisor.
•Ability to provide commercial judgement and understand design and build cost considerations for clients.
