Key Responsibilities

  • •Source, evaluate, and implement alternative asset investment opportunities with focus on risk/return, diversification, and capital/tax efficiency.
  • •Conduct manager due diligence and coordinate with internal SIM teams as needed.
  • •Develop and expand relationships with external sourcing partners and present internal recommendations.
  • •Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on documentation for alternative asset investments.

Key Requirements

  • •BS degree in economics, finance, accounting, mathematics, or another suitable quantitative field.
  • •5+ years of experience in a front office role in a bank, insurance company, pension fund, or other asset management firm.
  • •5+ years of experience in alternative asset management with a willingness to take on increasing responsibilities.
  • •Understanding of insurance-company frameworks for exposure to alternative investments in a capital-efficient manner.
  • •Knowledge of capital markets and alternative asset fundamentals, including private equity/private credit sub-sectors and alternative asset portfolio construction and monitoring.
