Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage a portfolio of defensive litigation matters for the Card Litigation team.
  • •Analyze complaints, significant matters, motions, discovery, disputes, and fraud claims.
  • •Perform case-related research using internal documents and information.
  • •Maintain litigation case files including pleadings, discovery, and correspondence.
  • •Support internal and external counsel in developing litigation strategies and responding to counterclaims, discovery requests, and complaints.

Salary: USD 87,700 - 110,100 annually

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of experience in a paralegal role in an in-house legal department or law firm.
  • •Background knowledge of consumer finance laws, collection laws, and regulations.
  • •Ability to review and analyze defensive litigation matters, including complaints, motions, discovery, and fraud claims.
