Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and grow the building engineering practice in Boston, balancing technical excellence, team development, client service, and business performance.
  • •Develop and execute a strategy to expand local MEP capabilities and build an integrated, multidisciplinary engineering team.
  • •Drive major project pursuits as lead for stand-alone MEP/fire protection work and within larger multi-discipline teams.
  • •Serve as technical leader and design manager, leading interdisciplinary coordination/quality reviews and ensuring engineering standards are met.
  • •Coach, mentor, and develop engineers, and manage forecasting, resource planning, and staff performance including mechanical team reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of mechanical engineering experience on multi-disciplinary projects, or demonstrated equivalency.
  • •PE license in Mechanical Engineering, with ability to obtain licensure in additional U.S. states.
  • •10+ years of experience, including at least two years in a leadership role.
  • •Proven ability to build positive working relationships and lead through influence and inclusivity.
  • •Experience with aviation, transportation, or federal sector projects, plus strong background in sustainable and high-performance building design.
