Job Summary

Assist the Loan Servicing Specialist and Portfolio Managers in day-to-day servicing of SBA 7a and USDA B&I loans. Generate due diligence and annual review materials, provide customer service to borrowers and lenders, submit loan requests and servicing updates through E-Tran, prepare late-payment/default/liquidation notices, and help track exceptions, appraisals, and SBA Watch List items while ensuring compliance with SBA/USDA requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist daily servicing activities to maintain integrity of SBA & USDA loans and support annual review and reporting requirements.
•Generate due diligence reports and gather supporting documentation for origination loan packaging, closing, and annual reviews.
•Provide customer service to borrowers, lenders, and SBA Portfolio Managers regarding loan files, balances, and payoff requests.
•Prepare and generate annual review notices, update shared loan files and nCino, and submit loan requests and servicing updates via E-Tran.
•Support servicing actions by preparing notices for late payments/default/liquidation, tracking exceptions, and ordering valuation updates and real estate appraisals.

Key Requirements

•Equivalent to a four-year college degree plus 12–18 months related experience and/or training.
•Administrative experience and experience working with multiple systems (banking preferred).
•Commercial Lender and/or SBA SOP experience.
•Ability to read, analyze, and understand financial reports and legal documents, and respond to inquiries from customers and regulatory agencies.
•Basic proficiency with 10-Key, accounting, and PowerPoint; intermediate proficiency with spreadsheets and word processing/typing.
