Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop Localization algorithms using sensors including camera, LiDAR, IMU, GNSS, and wheel odometry.
  • •Develop multi-sensor fusion state estimation algorithms.
  • •Develop online self-calibration algorithms for sensors including camera, LiDAR, and IMU.
  • •Develop and improve sensor extrinsic, intrinsic, and temporal calibration algorithms.
  • •Validate localization and calibration algorithms on real driving data and collaborate across teams (Perception, Planning, Data Platform) to deploy improvements that enhance AI training data quality.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree (Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related) with 3+ years of relevant experience, or a PhD.
  • •Understanding of Computer Vision, Robotics, Localization, Sensor Fusion, and/or State Estimation.
  • •Experience developing software with C++.
  • •Experience using Python for data analysis and algorithm validation.
  • •Understanding of Linear Algebra, Geometry, Probability, and Optimization; plus development experience in Linux environment.
