Job Summary

Coordinate and implement environmental, health, safety, and sustainability programs to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements for the Tolleson facility. Lead safety improvements, training, inspections, accident investigations, hazard analyses, and safety reviews of plans. Manage the Safety Team, workers’ compensation, return-to-work, ergonomic and environmental protection programs, and maintain occupational health and safety records.

Key Responsibilities

•Plan and implement safety programs in accordance with Federal OSHA regulations and site policies for Tolleson.
•Conduct and/or monitor training programs for OSHA subparts and maintain compliance through inspections and corrective action follow-up.
•Investigate accidents and work-related injuries/illnesses, determine causes, recommend corrective actions, and report serious incidents per OSHA requirements.
•Direct and administer special safety operations, including workplace hazard analyses, safety reviews of construction/modified facilities, and updates to safety SOPs.
•Lead the Safety Team and administer workers’ compensation, return-to-work, ergonomic, and environmental protection programs; maintain occupational health and safety records.

Key Requirements

•BS in Occupational Safety or related field preferred, or 5-10 years’ relevant experience.
•Experience working in an industrial/manufacturing environment preferred.
•Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
•Knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, EPA, and other government regulations.
•Excellent written and oral communication skills; CSP or CIH certification preferred or ability to obtain.
