Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide accountable property support to MSFC property custodians under the Property Services Manager’s guidance.
  • •Support property management activities including maintaining accurate property records, processing accessions/transfers/disposals, and performing inventories.
  • •Operate Government Property Management System applications for property control, including documentation processing, approvals, and loan/status tracking.
  • •Oversee equipment loans and property passes; validate equipment existence prior to end-user departure and transfer accountability to replacement/excess as required.
  • •Interface with customers and users professionally, perform field research and document hand-carries, and support walk-through inspections and audit archive record review.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate’s degree and 5 years of experience or 7 years of equivalent experience without a degree.
  • •Must be a US Citizen or legal resident alien status, and satisfy federal government background investigation requirements for access to information systems and facilities.
  • •Must pass a background investigation and be granted access/clearance to Marshall Space Flight Center.
  • •Must have a REAL ID and valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history to operate company vehicles.
  • •This position is contingent upon funding; selected applicants cannot begin work until funding is confirmed.
