Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor SIA flight progress and disseminate relevant flight information to concerned parties.
  • •Evaluate route and operational safety information (e.g., airport facility curtailments, industrial unrest, meteorological warnings, crew flight time limitations) and assess impacts on flights.
  • •Keep the operations crew informed via ACARS when necessary and communicate with technical crews and flight dispatchers on flight plan changes and re-routing.
  • •Work to minimize flight delays and passenger inconvenience by arranging additional flights/charters/relief flights and coordinating delays or special diversions.
  • •Monitor significant weather and airspace disruptions, coordinate arrival/departure sequencing and delay management measures, maintain flight dispatch currency, and support fuel initiative operations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a background in Flight Operations or pilots ATPL.
  • •Be able to work on shift duties as this is an operational role.
  • •Successfully complete a training program (typically 12 months) and competency assessments before appointment as Flight Controller.
  • •Sign a bond for the duration of training and two years thereafter.
