Job Summary

Lead Professional, Structural/Bridge Engineer responsible for high-level structural design and analysis of bridges and culverts in public and private sector projects. Provides guidance on planning, design development, and construction, reviews submittals and calculations, and collaborates with the Structural Engineering Team to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with industry standards. Mentors junior engineers and helps develop client relationships while managing project scope, budget, and schedule.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead high-level engineering analyses and design of structural elements with minimal supervision.
•Review submittals, shop drawings, and design calculations for accuracy and compliance.
•Evaluate existing structures and load ratings, and perform project-specific analyses.
•Prepare plans, specifications, estimates, and technical memorandums for projects.
•Mentor entry-level engineers, coordinate with team members, and manage client relationships.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, or closely related discipline.
•7+ years of relevant post-education experience in engineering discipline and prior structural or civil design experience.
•Engineer license required.
•Proficient with structural engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, and the application to project work-related issues.
•Experience with industry design standards such as AASHTO, ACI, AISC, etc.
