Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect the construction of a 220 kV double-terna transmission line in high-mountain terrain, ensuring technical, regulatory, schedule, and quality compliance by the Contractor under extreme climatic and logistical conditions.
  • •Plan access and logistics in advance and coordinate with the client and field camp for efficient operations.
  • •Inspect foundations, tower structures, grounding, and conductor systems at high altitudes, verifying adherence to design and safety standards.
  • •Coordinate with remote camp teams and manage field logistics, including potential helitransport arrangements, to minimize downtime.
  • •Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and ensure proper documentation and hold points as required.

Key Requirements

  • •More than 15 years of professional experience, with at least 10 years in transmission line inspection
  • •Experience working at extreme altitude (>3,500 msnm) with a current altitude medical clearance (excluyente)
  • •Experience with transmission lines in Andean or high-difficulty mountainous terrain
  • •Knowledge of safety procedures for working at height and acclimatization protocols
  • •High physical conditioning and ability to adapt to extreme weather conditions, including remote mountain logistics and 14x14 camp residency preferred
