First Amendment Fellow

Serve as a one-year paid First Amendment Fellow in the legal department, managing The Times’ freedom of information litigation docket and supporting legal matters tied to the newsroom. Work on cases and issues involving national security, police brutality, political corruption, public health, and access to court records. Assist with defending libel suits, pre-publication review, advising journalists and editors on legal questions, and handling intellectual property matters.
