Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare with proper supplies and PPE before visiting patients.
  • •Access your schedule using mobile technology and commute to patients’ homes.
  • •Build rapport and collect information while performing services including phlebotomy/specimen collection, diabetic foot screenings, retina exams, and ECGs.
  • •Label samples correctly and coordinate drop-off to appropriate labs or shipment facilities.
  • •Maintain high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and patient-centered care while working independently and in compliance with policies.

Key Requirements

  • •Previous experience in venipuncture and specimen collection.
  • •State-required licensure and/or proof of training, plus national certification where required by state.
  • •Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and proof of course/program completion based on licensure level.
  • •Technologically savvy—comfortable using mobile devices for charting and HIPAA secure messaging apps.
  • •Valid Driver’s License, current vehicle insurance, and passing national background and DMV checks.
