Job Summary

Own quality assurance reviews of TMS investigations supporting Coinbase’s AML/CFT program on the Operational Risk and Controls (ORC) team within Global Financial Crimes Operations. Review cases using QA rubrics, lead calibration and structured analyst support, and perform root cause analysis on thematic quality issues. Deliver timely responses to review and audit findings and build weekly metrics, dashboards, and trend analyses to improve processes, training, and procedures.

•Review TMS cases against established QA rubrics, including SAR regulatory filing sampling and risk-based sampling across priority compliance areas.
•Lead calibration sessions, office hours, and structured analyst support to drive consistency and understanding of complex procedural requirements.
•Conduct root cause analysis on thematic quality issues and translate findings into actionable recommendations for process, training, and procedural updates.
•Partner with second line of defense stakeholders and deliver timely, well-supported responses to review and audit findings.
•Build and present weekly metrics, dashboards, and trend analyses, and train/validate practice cases to accelerate analyst readiness and quality performance.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 55,620 - 61,800 annually

Key Requirements

•6+ years of experience in quality assurance/control, audit, or financial crime investigations in regulated financial services.
•Working knowledge of BSA/AML laws, regulations, and requirements, with risk-based judgment for reviewing complex investigations.
•ACAMS certification or equivalent AML qualification.
•Proven experience producing compliance metrics, dashboards, and performance reporting for operational/compliance stakeholders using Google Sheets/Excel and Google Slides/PowerPoint.
•Ability to present QA findings, root cause analyses, and procedural recommendations to senior compliance and operations leaders across multiple regions.
