Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee import and export operations to ensure full compliance with Mexican and international customs regulations.
  • •Administer key compliance reporting and programs, including IMMEX and Annex 30, and manage VAT and OEA/CTPAT certification self-assessments.
  • •Create and maintain internal procedures for import/export trade operations aligned with Eaton standards and government programs.
  • •Monitor compliance continuously, identify issues, and coordinate corrective action plans while staying up to date with customs law and regulations.
  • •Provide staff management, including career development, performance management, organizational development, training, and visitor management (trade compliance).

Key Requirements

  • •5-7 years of experience in Trade Compliance, Customs, Import/Export Operations, or related areas, including special trade program administration.
  • •Proven experience ensuring compliance with import/export regulations, customs requirements, corporate policies, and industry best practices.
  • •Strong, hands-on knowledge of IMMEX Program Administration and Mexican customs regulations.
  • •Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish and demonstrated leadership/team development capabilities.
