Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute cable pulling, routing, and sizing according to plant cable schedules.
  • •Interpret P&IDs to identify instrument locations, line tracking, and process flow.
  • •Wire control panels, junction boxes, and switchgear using schematic wiring drawings, termination charts, and loop sheets.
  • •Install and modify HT/LT cable trays, conduits, and support structures; perform termination, crimping, and ferrule marking.
  • •Conduct continuity and point-to-point validation, run Hi-Pot safety testing, perform cold/hot loop checks, and calibrate/diagnose field instruments.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or ITI in Electrical.
  • •5+ years as an industrial electrician handling large rotating machinery.
  • •Advanced ability to read and work with single-line diagrams (SLDs), P&IDs, cable schedules, schematic drawings, and instrument data sheets.
  • •Expert handling of Megger testers, Hi-Pot test kits, hydraulic crimpers, cable cutters, and loop calibrators (e.g., Fluke).
  • •Valid industrial electrical license and valid HT/LT supervisor/work license; LOTO and hazardous-area (ATEX/IECEx) training is highly desired.
