Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and grow the planning consents service, providing line management and mentorship to junior team members.
  • •Lead major development applications, including the Development Consent Order (DCO) process, and provide strategic planning advice.
  • •Ensure projects are delivered successfully on budget and within programme timelines.
  • •Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams for seamless project execution.
  • •Oversee planning consents deliverables and implement quality assurance, health and safety principles.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant relevant experience leading planning consent applications for large infrastructure projects across consenting regimes.
  • •Proven experience in planning consents and project management, including major development applications through the DCO process.
  • •Client-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills and collaborative working style.
  • •Demonstrable business development mindset, including work winning and developing client relationships.
  • •Degree in Town Planning (or related discipline) and membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or equivalent professional body.
