Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform hardware maintenance support for the AN/TPY-2 system, including preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of the radar.
  • •Assist with planning and support of maintenance, including independent assessments, audits, and special inspections of radar site activities.
  • •Maintain a mission-ready, fully deployable status and support deployed assignments at various sites CONUS and/or OCONUS with little notice.
  • •Identify required job orders, account for actions in ALCS, and see corrective maintenance tasks through to completion.
  • •Maintain and repair equipment in accordance with applicable Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) and Technical Orders.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • •Completion of the AN/TPY-2 Core Conduct course and on-the-job training, or US Army THAAD experience, or Raytheon Skill Bridge training.
  • •At least 2 years of experience troubleshooting and performing operational checkout of TPY-2 systems or similar.
  • •Experience using tools and test equipment commonly used in electronic installation, maintenance, and test.
  • •Willingness and ability to travel for deployed work assignments nationally and internationally, often with little notice.
