Job Summary

Committed to OHSE and quality, this technician position supports the Pre-Make process by inspecting, selecting, and staging cylinders for production. You’ll follow safety procedures and hazard-material/waste guidelines (including 40 CFR), complete required paperwork for job and cylinder accuracy, operate equipment per manufacturer specifications (Renzmann), and maintain clean, safe Pre-Make work areas. You’ll also participate in Pre-Make Team meetings and support other production groups.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Record and visually inspect cylinders received for damage; store cylinders in racks in the Pre-Make Ready Area.
•Remove correct cylinders per set up sheets, inspect serviceability at the work bench, and stage cylinders prior to installation on press.
•Complete paperwork to ensure correct job number, cylinder number, unit number, and color for each job on press.
•Remove cylinders at job finish and ensure bearings are removed, cylinder is cleaned, and safely returned to the correct rack location.
•Maintain and clean sumps as required, including wash solvent changing schedule, and properly disassemble and clean cylinders without damage.
