Key Responsibilities

  • •Build production-quality components and interactions across WorkOS products.
  • •Prototype concepts, build new products, and experiment with interaction patterns.
  • •Improve WorkOS design system quality across performance, state, accessibility, and interaction behavior.
  • •Partner with product teams to test ideas with customers and ensure shipped work is right.
  • •Contribute design system and agent-instruction improvements, and work openly by sharing progress early.

Key Requirements

  • •Ship polished, production-quality products and have strong design detail and craft.
  • •Explain and defend design decisions using alternatives, tradeoffs, and their impact on the full product.
  • •Handle real-world complexity including edge cases, error/empty states, accessibility, and technical constraints.
  • •Be comfortable in code and in Figma/Paper, using multiple tools to refine explorations and share learnings.
  • •Bonus: Experience with TypeScript, React, and Radix; plus developer tools or enterprise technical products.
