Lead hands-on design, development, and troubleshooting of highly distributed, event-driven, cloud-based production systems. Own Linux administration for a fleet of Linux and Windows VMs, advocate Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code, and ensure reliability, uptime, security, cost, and performance. Monitor service level objectives, maintain monitoring processes, support on-call rotations when needed, and partner with security engineers to automate responses to new risks.
