Key Responsibilities

  • •Draft, maintain, update, and implement Barakah Nuclear Power Plant NRM models, programs, and applications in line with FANR requirements.
  • •Execute severe accident analysis including PRA Level II Severe Accident Analysis, SAMG Severe Accident Analysis, and Fukushima Severe Accident Analysis.
  • •Develop and update severe accident management guidance, procedures, and training, including tools and methods to mitigate core damage events and detect early severe accident phases.
  • •Review and update PRA, RIMS, Phoenix, and PSR procedures and guides, and prepare reports for accuracy and reliability.
  • •Develop and maintain PRA model as-operated; identify event/fault trees, update PRA databases, and support PRA applications and post-Fukushima action plan compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • •5 years of relevant experience.
  • •Master’s degree in engineering or related science, with experience in PRA model development.
  • •Experience with risk-informed applications in nuclear plant operation/engineering.
  • •Experience working with PRA-related programs, documentation, and severe accident risk analysis activities.
