Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead enterprise financial accounting over capital expenditures, fixed assets, and capitalized software in compliance with U.S. GAAP, SOX, and internal policies.
  • •Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of fixed assets and software investments, including capitalization, asset setup, depreciation/amortization, useful life assessment, abandonment, and impairment considerations.
  • •Review and approve IT investment spending and related project documentation to ensure correct capital vs. expense classification and accurate project/account coding.
  • •Prepare, review, and support reporting and disclosure deliverables for fixed assets, depreciation/amortization, capitalized software, board reporting, SEC reporting, and financial statements.
  • •Support internal and external audit activities and maintain SOX documentation, controls, risk and control matrices, and supporting evidence for key controls.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 7 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
  • •Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • •Experience with PeopleSoft GL, Hyperion Financial Management, Clarity PPM, and Trintech Certification.
  • •CPA preferred; public accounting experience is a plus.
