Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the Serco lead for operational activities for the AESAS 26 contract (Culdrose and Yeovilton).
  • •Provide senior site operational leadership and oversight across all AESAS activities at RNAS Yeovilton.
  • •Lead day-to-day operational delivery to ensure AESAS contractual requirements are met safely, effectively, and efficiently.
  • •Represent Serco at meetings and governance forums and build trusted relationships with Royal Navy customers and key stakeholders.
  • •Ensure compliance with MAA, Military Regulatory Publications (MRP) Part 145, RA4801, and contractual requirements while managing performance reporting, risk, and continuous improvement; provide line management to AESAS employees.

Key Requirements

  • •Act as a senior operational lead with experience delivering aviation engineering and safety assurance services in a civil or military aviation environment.
  • •Hold Form 4 responsibilities and meet delegated engineering level J RN/authority requirements.
  • •Degree-level qualification or Higher National Certificate/ Higher National Diploma in an engineering discipline.
  • •Be a Chartered Engineer or Incorporated Engineer and a registered member of a relevant professional institution.
  • •Demonstrate leadership capability, including line management and trusted stakeholder relationship building with effective communication.
