Job Summary

Serve as a Financial Center Personal Banker I by using a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles, identify needs, and cross-sell retail consumer and small business products. Participate in an onboarding and education program with operations and Sales & Service rotations, maintain teller and platform staff responsibilities, proactively reach customers using approved marketing tools, and partner with Business Partners to deliver holistic solutions while adhering to risk and ethics standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build thorough customer profiles and identify current/future needs.
•Recommend retail consumer and small business solutions by applying retail product knowledge and the bank’s value proposition.
•Proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews using CAMP and approved marketing tools.
•Cross-sell to the existing customer base and engage in outside sales activities, including onsite presentations and community financial literacy events.
•Process teller transactions and support the platform staff while partnering with Business Partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, Investment) and guiding CSRs on the sales and referral process.

Key Requirements

•Complete the 4-8 week onboarding and education program that leads to a Personal Banker I certification.
•Develop comfort level with sales activities to acquire new consumer household and small business customers and/or cross-sell to established customers.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions using the bank’s value proposition.
•Demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•Obtain/maintain S.A.F.E. Act registration at time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
