Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide estimating and cost planning, including producing and presenting final cost plans.
  • •Review and support design services and general contractors in developing cost estimates, then reconcile changes to ensure contractor data accuracy.
  • •Negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle and support post-contract cost variances and change control processes.
  • •Manage cost impact and contingency management, commitment tracking, and conduct timely cost checks and valuations on larger projects.
  • •Coordinate cost discussions and suppliers inputs, prepare monthly cost reports and funding presentations, support VE sessions, and help drive accurate final account negotiation and agreement.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a field related to construction.
  • •Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in a cost management role in the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards it is preferred.
  • •Experience leading cost management on medium to large sized projects of medium to high complexity.
  • •Strong knowledge of construction industry technical matters (procurement routes, value management, value engineering) and excellent communication skills.
