Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead electrical engineering design work on assigned projects under senior staff guidance.
  • •Coordinate with Project Engineer and Project Manager to develop electrical design schedules and budgets.
  • •Perform solar PV and BESS system design (array layouts, DC string sizing, equipment layouts, utility interconnections).
  • •Develop engineering calculations, construction specifications, and support one-lines and network diagrams for drawings.
  • •Support full lifecycle delivery from feasibility through start-up and commissioning, including participation in meetings and occasional travel.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS in Electrical Engineering (or engineering related) and 4+ years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Demonstrated experience in design and integration of utility-scale renewable and battery storage systems.
  • •Current professional engineering license (PE) and ability to attain additional states by comity.
  • •Proficient in industry software such as Homer, NREL SAM, ForgeSolar, and Helioscope.
  • •Strong familiarity with the NEC and related codes such as IBC and NFPA 855.
